Description

Interior view of the chancel of the Gothic church of Exeter Cathedral, Devon, with its ribbed vaults, carved wooden stalls, and a large colored stained-glass window. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 30.06.47 sent to 'Tatie Claire' in Le Bourg, France, with a 1st (5.09) stamp and cancellation 'EXETER D.S.P.M. 1945'.
