Description

Interior view of the choir of York Minster, with the Chapel of the Virgin to the east, built between 1361 and 1400 under the direction of master mason Robert Patrington. The large eastern window is fully glazed with stained glass, completed between 1405 and 1408 by John Thornton of Coventry, and is considered the most magnificent window in England.
