View of a stone single-arch bridge crossing a river, surrounded by dense forest. The reverse indicates it was built in 1715 by Sir Alexander Grant, exclusively for pedestrians and horses. The publisher is Denburn Cards, Edinburgh. The address is to Madame Michelle Beugnon in Darnil (set O), France, with a handwritten inscription in French. British postmark of Queen Elizabeth II, cancellation from Carlisle 15 August 1954.
