Postcard illustrating eight fortified churches in the Thierache region (Aisne), with photos of Chaourse, Plomion, Gronard, Priscès, Englancourt, Mage, Beaurain, Wimy, St-Algis, and Burelles. Reverse: explanatory text on their historical role as refuges during the Wars of Religion, 160 franc postage stamp, cancellation from Châlons-sur-Marne dated 12-10-1982, and handwritten address to Laon with signature.
