On the reverse, a postcard dated 23-9-59, sent from Toulon to Cherbourg (Manche), with a 15 franc stamp and a cancellation from La Seyne-sur-Mer. The printed text states 'A CIGARETTE MAKES A POET'S FEE' and 'Reproduction prohibited'.
