Description

Black and white view of the façade of the Saint-Gatien Cathedral in Tours, highlighting its two Gothic towers. The reverse side indicates that the towers were built in the 16th century, with different crowns: the northern tower by Bastien and Martin François (1507), the southern tower by Pierre Gadjer (1534–1547). The publisher is Graphia, and the postcard has a Tours cancellation dated June 30, 1937. It is addressed to Melle Tripot in Corbeil, with handwritten sender's script by Christiane.
