Detail of an Egyptian bas-relief depicting seated captives with hands tied behind their heads, in a style characteristic of Nubian art. The reverse indicates that the postcard was published by the Ministry of Culture of the R.A.U. for the preservation of Nubian monuments, with a photograph by F. L. Kenett, and is from the first series. It bears the inscription 'Captives — detail of a ceremonial chariot'.
