View of Tower Bridge in London with a military ship passing under one of the two drawbridges. Printed text at the bottom: 'Tower Bridge, opened in 1894, cost over a million pounds to build. The twin bascules, each of which weighs more than a thousand tons, are raised to allow the passage of large vessels moving up or down the river Thames.' Back: handwritten French text addressed to 'Mme Toussaint Louise' in Paris, green stamp of Queen Elizabeth II, cancellation 'SOUTHAMPTON 18 SEP 1975'.
