Black and white view of the half-timbered houses of the central market in Trier, with a photo shop in the foreground and a wall clock. The reverse has a handwritten letter in Dutch dated September 13, 1973, sent from Trier to a recipient in the Netherlands, with a German postage stamp and a Trier postmark.
