Black and white view of a spectacular sunset over the sea, with dramatic clouds and a sailboat in silhouette. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Monsieur and Madame Grimaud at La Courde Maritime, accompanied by two 10-franc stamps of the French Republic and a Deauville-Trouville cancellation dated August 28, 1940.
