Colorized postcard showing the Buddhist temple of Jlagandhakuti Vihara at Sarnath, where the Buddha gave his first sermon, with a large central stupa and decorative flags. The reverse indicates that it was produced by the Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity and printed by M/s. Vakil & Sons (P) Ltd., Bombay, in January 1962, with handwritten text and a partial cancellation.
