Description

Union Pacific No. 4466 locomotive, a 0-6-0 coal-burning steam engine built in 1920 by Lima Locomotive Works and operated until 1956 on the Nebraska division. Acquired by the Pacific Coast Chapter of the R&LHS in 1973, it was displayed at the Calif. State Railroad Museum in 1978 and restored to operation in 1984 by museum staff and volunteers with the cooperation of Union Pacific Railroad. The reverse indicates the publisher Shirley Burman Photographer, Sacramento, CA 95818, and mentions that the photo was printed in Japan.
