Description

View of the monumental Clock of the Fatherland in Valenciennes, dated 1863, adorned with sculptures and a Roman numeral dial. The reverse indicates the publisher REAL PHOTO, the address of the Town Hall in Valenciennes, and handwritten correspondence addressed to Mr. René de Breyn in Lille. Two 50-centime stamps are affixed, and the postmark bears the date of October 10, 1918.
