Traditional scene of life in an Auvergne kitchen, with two women in period costumes: one holds a spinning wheel, the other handles wool near a fireplace. The setting is richly detailed with hanging utensils and a checkered curtain. On the reverse, a handwritten inscription addresses the card to 'Mme P. Carlon' in Limoges, with a 1964 French postage stamp and a postmark from Véilhespèsse (Cantal).
