Illustrated postcard depicting the Vendée with a thatched-roof house, a flower-covered facade, and a typical dish (bacon, potatoes, bread). Reverse: handwritten message from Alan to his parents, dated August 12, 1998, sent from La Tranche-sur-Mer, with stamp and postmark from the 'World Youth Masters Championships'.
