Italian postcard presenting two scenes of Venice: on the left, an animated canal with many gondolas and the Basilica Santa Maria della Salute in the background; on the right, Saint-Mark's Square with the bell tower and a crowd of pigeons. The reverse features a handwritten letter sent from Marco Polo (Abbracciate, Italy) to François Monnier in Calmette, France, with two 15 lire stamps and a postmark.
