Colorized view of the Hungaria Palace Hotel in Venice, with its Art Deco architecture and garden adorned with colorful umbrellas. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated 21 May 1956, sent from Venice to Cannes, with an Italian 20-lire stamp and a Venetian cancellation. The publisher is F. Zago, Venice.
