View of Piazza San Marco in Venice under high tide, with the basilica and bell tower reflected in the water. The reverse has a multilingual inscription, a handwritten letter to Mrs. Olive Levy in Asnières, and an Italian stamp of 700 Lire dated 14 July 1964.
