Description

Morning view of the San Marco Quay in Venice, with many gondolas moored and in the background the Campanile tower and the Basilica of San Marco under a golden sky. The reverse features a handwritten letter in French from Claire to her recipient in Paris, accompanied by two Italian stamps of 150 Lire (Castello di Miramare) and a note 'Riproduzione vietata'.
