Snowy aerial view of the village of Verbier in the Valais Alps, with wooden chalets and ski slopes in the background. On the reverse, a postcard dated 20 February 1980, with a Helvetia 80 stamp depicting two owls, a Verbier postmark, and a handwritten letter from Florence to the Haguères family in Versailles, France.
