Alkaline clay plate from Isnik, painted at high temperature, dating from the second half of the 16th century. Printed text on the back indicates the publisher W. S. Cowell Ltd. and the note 'Printed in England for H.M.S.O.' with the serial number 314-1867. The postcard is published by the Victoria and Albert Museum.
