Description

Ink and watercolor drawing of a funerary monument with a draped skeleton, designed for Lady Warburton, who died in 1693/4, in St. John's Church, Chester. The reverse indicates it was part of the collections of John Talman (1677–1726) and C.J. Richardson, and bears the marking 'Victoria and Albert Museum'.
