Black and white view of Villeveque Castle, surrounded by trimmed hedge gardens and palm trees. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated July 7, 1961, sent from Villeveque (Maine-et-Loire) by M. Tafin to his children, mentioning his arrival in good health, the presence of Mr. and Mrs. Liéry, and the cool weather conditions. The publisher 'Chrétenin & Fils, Reprographe' is printed vertically on the reverse.
