Colorized postcard showing a red train of the Vitznau-Rigi-Bahn crossing an alpine landscape with Lake Vierwaldstättersee in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter in French expresses admiration for the landscape and the beauty of the train, addressed to Paris. The 30 centimes Helvetia stamp is canceled in Vitznau on July 15, 1971, with a commemorative postmark for the 100th anniversary of the line.
