Description

Colored view of the Rhine with a passenger boat navigating in the foreground and Maus Castle dominating a steep hill in the background. The village of Wellmich extends along the banks. On the reverse, handwritten text indicates the purchase on the steamer 'Lorelei' while traveling up the Rhine from Cologne to Bonn, dated October 2, 1969. The 0.30 DM stamp is canceled in Bonn.
