Western Pacific Locomotive No. 913, first generation 1500-horsepower diesel-electric locomotive built in 1950 by General Motors, used for freight service between Oakland and Salt Lake City. Presented at the Calif. State Railroad Museum in 1981 by Western Pacific employees. Printed text on the back indicates the provenance and photographer Shirley Burman of Sacramento, CA. Postmark and cancellation not visible.
