Description

Illustration of a scene on Westminster Bridge in 1907, with a two-deck electric tram (number 326) and Big Ben in the background, surrounded by horse-drawn carriages and pedestrians. The reverse indicates that the trams had begun crossing the bridge only a few months earlier and that the first electric line of the capital, opened in 1903, was inaugurated by the Prince of Wales (future King George V).
