Description

Aerial view of the Waddi Dhar oasis nestled in a lush valley, dominated by a rocky outcrop over 50 meters high. The brick or adobe buildings, with translucent stained-glass windows framed in white plaster, reflect Yemeni architecture. The reverse mentions that this former residence of Imam Yahia al Mutawakkil was assassinated in 1948.
