Black and white view of a coastal pier in Yport where waves crash violently against the walls, with spectators watching from the dock and a cyclist near a kiosk. On the reverse, handwritten text reads 'A thought' and 'To you, Robert Bute', addressed to 'Dubergerenville - Prima et Oise'. Blue 8 franc stamp canceled YPORT, with a postmark.
