Black and white photo of a man in front of a large bell decorated with religious motifs, located in a wooden bell tower. The reverse indicates that the bell, weighing 3.7 tonnes, was cast in 1862 and has been on loan to the St. Georgskirche in Nördlingen since 1952. A handwritten letter is addressed to relatives in France, mentioning snow and the beauty of the photo. A 50 pfennig stamp and a postmark from Nördlingen dated 31-3-1972.
