Description

Postcard with four views showing the lock and weir: entrance, exit, lock and weir with boats. Back: printed text explaining that the weir regulates the flow of the Seine, put into service in 1959 after 15 months of work, and allowing the passage of 2,800 tonnes of convoys. Postmark of 25 centimes from Mont-de-Marsan, cancellation from Achères, with handwritten sender and recipient details.
