Two women in traditional Alsatian costume pose in front of a wooden house. One holds a straw hat, the other wears a headscarf. At the bottom, the coat of arms of Alsace and the inscription 'ALSACE'. On the reverse, printed text: 'Baryennes of the valley or «Talwiwélé» Column of Upper Alsace carried until 1945.'
