Black and white view of a canal lined with old buildings, with a bridge in the background and potted flowers along a railing. On the reverse, handwritten text addresses the card to 'Garnier Robert' in Monts-la-Jolie (Seto), with a French 20-centime postage stamp and a cancellation 'ANNÉCY - Les Quais du Thioo' dated summer 1959.
