Description

Black and white view of the Clock Gate in Auxerre, with a Gothic clock above an arched passage, flanked by shops (Dupré-Vincent, Shoes) and pedestrians. On the reverse, a French 8-franc postage stamp, postmark from Brest (21/04/1959), handwritten address to Monsieur Yves Thomas in Nogent-sur-Marne, and mention of the publisher G. Réant.
