Black and white view of Saint-Maclou Church reflected in a river, bordered by trees. Reverse: handwritten text from a letter dated 1918, sent from Bar-sur-Aube, with a mention of 'Promenade de Mathaux' and a signature of Marie José. 5¢ postmark and publisher stamp of E. Mignon (Yonne).
