The astronomical clock of Besançon, designed and executed from 1857 to 1860 by A.L. Vérité, features a monumental structure adorned with 70 dials and a series of automatons. On the reverse, a handwritten message from a visitor expressing amazement at the clock. The publisher is Combier, Macon, and the postcard bears the series number C3 25056-1-1023.
