Description

Perspective view of a paved street leading to the Gothic cathedral of Bourges, with its tower and ornate portal. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated September 16, 1950, addressed to 'Ma chère Angèle', describing the arrival in Bourges and the impression of the cathedral. The postmark is canceled in Bourges.
