Description

View of the medieval castle of Brest, whose ramparts overlook the entrance to the Arsenal, with a warship (F735) moored at the port. On the reverse, printed text stating 'LA BRETAGNE EN COULEURS' and a handwritten letter addressed to 'Mme C. SAUVAN, Maison d'enfants, GIVERVILLE (Caux)', accompanied by a 15-franc postage stamp.
