Description

Color view of a French-style garden with a parterre of trimmed hedges shaped like a labyrinth, bordered by topiaries and flowers. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated September 18, 1937, sent from Castres to Ramond, mentioning the garden designed by Le Nôtre between 1613-1700. A 30-centime stamp and Castres postmark.
