Black and white photograph of a seated statue of the Virgin Mary holding the Child Jesus. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated May 24, 1950, sent from Chartres to Saint-Denis d'Ashtown, with a French 1950 postmark and a Chartres post office cancellation. The publisher is listed as B. HOUVET, with the note 'Authentic Photograph'.
