Description

Black and white view of the South Portal of the Cathedral of Chartres, highlighting its Gothic façade with its large rose window and two spires. The reverse features handwritten text dated August 20, 1933, addressed to 'My little Claude,' mentioning a visit to the cathedral and the sending of a new photo. At the bottom, the publisher 'E. & L. Chartres' is printed, with a partially visible postmark.
