Description

View of the north facade of Vaux-le-Vicomte Castle, built by Le Vau from 1656 to 1661 for superintendent Nicolas Fouquet, with decoration by Le Brun and gardens by Le Nôtre. The back features handwritten correspondence dated October 29th, 1977, addressed to Delage in Pessac, with a 1 franc stamp and a Garches cancellation.
