Description

Colorized view of a village nestled at the foot of imposing limestone cliffs, with red-roofed houses and a religious building. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 24/3/57, sent from La Châtelaine to Paris, mentioning holidays and a nearby waterfall. Postmark of 12 centimes and cancellation from Besançon dated 24/3/57.
