Colorized aerial view of a village with red rooftops with the Château de la Roche-Pot dominating a wooded hill. On the reverse, an 8 franc stamp from the Loire Valley, a postmark from Chagny dated September 19, 1955, and a handwritten inscription for 'Mme aller' in Saint-Étienne. The publisher is the Imprimerie Bourdon of Chagny.
