Description

Black and white aerial view of the village of Ferrette, located at 680 m altitude in the Jura, with scattered houses on a gentle slope and a ruined fortress on a wooded hill. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Mrs. Odette Lory in Paris, dated 23/15 (probably 1965), with a 0.60 franc postage stamp and a cancellation from Saint-Lô. The publisher is indicated as 'Combléer Imprimeur (71, S.-&-L.)'.
