Badminton games on a large tiled terrace by the sea, with players in period attire. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 16 June 1953, addressed to 'Dear Toms', signed 'Claudy Poussinet', mentioning the beauty of the place and the fatigue of a journey. Postage stamp and cancellation 'FORT-MARTIN-PLAGE' visible.
