Postcard showing riders and a child observing a mountainous landscape with glaciers. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 6 August, sent from Gavarnie to Niort, mentioning a stay near Agde and plans for hiking in the Tarn Gorges. 20-franc stamp and postmark from Gavarnie (Hautes-Pyrénées).
