Description

Wooden sculpture depicting the Virgin with Child, dated to the 18th century, discovered in the chapel of the priory of N.-D. de Vie in Marseille. Printed text on the reverse indicates its origin and establishment in 1647. The postal envelope was sent from Cannes, with a 12 franc stamp and a postmark dated April 5, 1947.
