Description

Black and white portrait of a woman in traditional Breton costume, wearing a large black bonnet and a dark dress, posing with her hand on her chin. On the reverse, a postcard dated 13-11-56, sent from the Island of Sein (Finistère) to Madame Claudie Gros in Céze, Provence, with a 15 franc stamp and a postmark. The printed text indicates 'LA BRETAGNE' and 'Traditional Costume of the Island of SEIN (Finistère)' with a note prohibiting reproduction.
