Black and white panoramic view of L'Île-Rousse, showing buildings along a harbor and mountains in the background. On the reverse, a postcard sent in 1950 from L'Île-Rousse to Villeurbanne (Rhône), with an 18 franc stamp and a cancellation 'L'ÎLE-ROUSSE'. The handwritten message mentions a train journey to Nice, followed by a boat to L'Île-Rousse.
